Who is responsible

astrogen.art is a personal, non-commercial site. For any question about your data, write to [email protected].

Without an account

What you enter (sign, birth date, test results, card of the day) stays in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent to our servers.

With an account

We keep on our server, hosted in Germany: your email, first name, birth date and, if you give them, your birth time and place, natal chart, test results and card collection. Your password is only stored as an irreversible hash. This data is used only to provide the service and is never sold or rented.

It is kept as long as your account exists, and deleted with it.

AstroGenAI

If you use the AI astrologer and explicitly agree, your first name, sign, natal chart, test results and horoscope of the day are sent to our model provider, Anthropic, to produce the answer (never your email or birth place). Anthropic does not use this data to train its models. Your conversations are kept 90 days, and you can delete them at any time from the AstroGenAI page.

Moon sign and rising sign

The moon sign and rising sign calculators work without an account. The date, time and place you enter are used for the computation and then forgotten: they are neither stored nor written to our logs. To find a place's coordinates, its name is sent to OpenStreetMap (Nominatim service), as is the birth place of members' profiles. Your last entry stays in your browser only.

Service providers

The site is served by Cloudflare, account data is hosted by Hetzner in Germany, and the site's emails are sent by Resend. Audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics) uses no cookies and does not identify you.

Social networks

astrogen.art publishes its own horoscope videos on its YouTube and TikTok accounts. For TikTok, the site uses TikTok's official API only to send these videos to astrogen.art's own TikTok account. For this it keeps an access token to that account only, on its server, and collects no data about TikTok users. This access can be revoked at any time from TikTok's settings.

Your rights

You can access, correct, export or delete your data and your account, or object to their processing, by writing to [email protected]. If you believe your rights are not respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr), the French data protection authority.
