The Tower
Disruption, revelation, liberation
Associated planet: Mars
What the card shows
A tower struck at the top by lightning; two figures fall. The Tarot de Marseille calls it La Maison Dieu, the House of God. What was built on poor foundations collapses at once.
Upright
Upheaval, sudden revelation, release through the fall.
Reversed
A crisis narrowly avoided, or a fall that delays and grows heavier.
In love
A sudden questioning, a truth that bursts out.
At work
An unforeseen break, the end of a structure grown fragile.
Do not hold up falling walls: rebuild better.
In our four decks
Each deck reads the card in its own language. The illustrations change every day.
Tarot de Marseille
The Tower
What crumbles was no longer true. Lightning clears the ground for something more authentic.
Angel Tarot
The Angel of Revelation
Behind every collapse, an angel lays a new foundation. Truth, even sudden, is always a gift.
Lunar Tarot
The Eclipse
The eclipse masks the light for a moment. What collapses during this passage did not deserve to stand.
Modern Oracle
The Break
It hurts. That's normal. What collapsed had been cracked for a long time. Rebuilding starts today.
